The 20th Walmart NW Arkansas Championship is scheduled to start on September 25 at the Pinnacle Country Club in Rogers. The 144-player field this year comprises some heavyweights, with 27 golfers ranked among the best 50 in the world competing for $3 million in total prize money.
Fifty percent of the best 30 female golfers in the world will be participating in the 54-hole championship along with 16 major winners.
However, the focus this time lies on the top-five ranked golfers in the Rolex Women's World Golf Rankings who will play in the tournament.

Top Five Ranked Players Entering The 2026 Walmart NW Arkansas Championship
Miyu Yamashita (World No. 5): She comes into this competition as the most highly ranked player in the field, having secured two victories and ten top-10 performances out of 18 appearances this year.
She set the LPGA's all-time best score in 72 holes at 23-under par with her wire-to-wire performance at the CPKC Women's Open.
Lottie Woad (World No. 7): The Englishwoman has had an outstanding season, marked by a win at the Kroger Queen City Championship and six top-10 finishes. Her ball-striking ability is what has made everything possible, with her finishing fifth on Tour in greens in regulation.
Charley Hull (World No. 8): Her strength lies in a résumé based on consistency and not quantity. She has achieved four top-10 places on the LPGA Tour, including a second-place finish at the U.S. Women's Open, along with a victory at the PIF Saudi Ladies International.
Gaby Lopez (World No. 16): The graduate from Arkansas Razorback completes the team with connections in the area. Despite her ongoing search for a win in 2026, Lopez has qualified in 12 of the 14 tournaments and came close to winning with a runner-up spot in the U.S. Women’s Open.
Lauren Coughlin (World No. 17): She finishes in the top five following a standout year highlighted by a victory at the Aramco Championship. In 16 events, she has 11 cuts and two more top 10s, along with strokes gained play that ranks fifth on Tour.
As far as the competition is concerned, considering that the tournament boasts such a strong lineup of 16 champions and 27 of the best 50 players in the world, it will definitely be one of the toughest fields ever.
