After the World Cup win, Paige Bueckers took to Instagram to express gratitude to all her teammates. On top of that, the Dallas Wings guard made sure to include a wholesome fan interaction.
On her World Cup debut, Bueckers clinched the title in Berlin. It wasn’t a straightforward run for Team USA, as they had to stay “locked in."
“We locked in twin! Mission complete. THANK YOU @usabasketball,” Bueckers wrote on Instagram.

Bueckers’ photo dump included images with all her national teammates. The standout moment was a photo with a young fan.
Bueckers is seen performing a hand gesture that slightly resembles a “dab” with a young girl in her Instagram post. The cute moment made it into her 20-image FIBA World Cup Instagram carousel.
Embraces with teammates Kahleah Copper and Napheesa Collier, a selfie with Angel Reese, a sideline conversation with Breanna Stewart, and a handshake with Chelsea Gray were also a part of the illustrious collection.
Bueckers posted a photo with the World Cup trophy and the glamorous gold medal. The photo of the entire team standing under the “World Champions” sign was also there.
Hilariously, the final image was the Dallas Wings guard holding up a bratwurst.
The photo dump highlighted every aspect of the historic run that Team USA had. Although the 24-year-old was not an outright starter, she played her part and gelled with the star-studded team.
Bueckers’ image with WNBA rival Caitlin Clark drew a lot of attention.
Paige Bueckers and Caitlin Clark keep rivalry aside
Bueckers and Clark have been labelled as rivals since their college days. However, that’s not the case, as the Dallas star revealed.
“It’s crazy because everybody’s pinning me and Caitlin against each other for the longest time,” Bueckers said on the Not Gonna Lie with Kylie Kelce podcast in January. “I mean, we’re cool. We’re friends, but again it’s respect of the competition, so we understand that.”
Bueckers shared a pic of her and Clark in her post-WWC dump. Both stars are seen doing the same pose and sharing a handshake.
On top of that, Bueckers also showed her love for Clark’s WC photo dump by commenting a handshake emoji.
