Watch: Sophie Cunningham Turns Heads Again as Fever Star Debuts Bold New Tunnel Fit

Indiana Fever star Sophie Cunningham continues the trend of making waves outside the hardwood, with her latest headline being a must-see pregame outfit.

Ahead of the Indiana Fever and Toronto Tempo matchup on Tuesday night, the 29-year-old guard wore a black, bikini-style crop top that featured her midriff. She paired it with low-rise, floor-length black trousers and accessorized with a layered necklace.

The Fever posted photos of several players' pregame tunnel outfits, with Cunningham's bold look gathering all the attention.

Cunningham is often known as the player most connected with her fanbase and is regularly in the spotlight for her creative tunnel fits.

But recently, she hit a home run talking about one detail that many fans have noticed over the years, which has nothing to do with basketball.

It is the tattoo on her right forearm. The design is neither large nor flashy, but it represents something deeper than simply a fashionable look.

According to Cunningham, the tattoo carries an important message that has helped her guide her through difficult moments.

"My family all has the same tattoo. It means, 'Through deep waters, I'll be with you,'" Cunningham explained in a recent video shared as part of her new partnership with SHARx.

The design actually shows a wave with three peaks, a matching symbol she shares with her mother, Paula, and sister, Lindsey.

Cunningham, revealing the real meaning behind her tattoo, comes at a time when she is on a momentous run with the Indiana Fever, who have extended their lead to 9-5 for the season with four consecutive victories.

Sophie Cunningham Excels Off the Bench

The 29-year-old veteran is making a case for herself to be the best sixth player in the league. In the 85-75 win against the Connecticut Sun, Cunningham went ballistic, scoring all 11 of her points in the final two minutes.

She followed that by coming off the bench again and erupting for 24 points on 8-of-11 shooting efficiency, and a career-high 6-of-7 shots from outside the arc against expansion side Toronto Tempo.

These performances come after Cunningham missed the game against the Chicago Sky due to right elbow soreness and received a platelet-rich plasma injection to accelerate her recovery.

With clutch minutes on the court and an impact that transcends basketball, the Fever have a warrior in Cunningham, who has slowly but surely built a reputation that connects sporting and personal values like no other player.

As the Fever marches on to face the Atlanta Dream, one can only predict what Sophie Cunningham will go viral for next.

So, do you think Stephanie White will start Sophie Cunningham following her impressive performances recently? Let us know in the comments.
