Taylor Swift and Caitlin Clark are all set for an exciting new collaboration

Caitlin Clark just gave Swifties something new to obsess over. The Fever guard recently revealed a new Taylor Swift-inspired colorway for her debut signature sneaker, the Nike Caitlin 1.

Dubbed the 'Friendship Bracelet' edition, this design serves as a major nod to the Indiana Fever star’s well-documented fandom as a massive 'Swiftie.'

While Nike has not formally announced a joint marketing campaign with Taylor Swift, Clark has shared that she designed a couple of versions of the shoe with the pop icon in mind.

"Yeah, these are the ones," Clark captioned an Instagram Story on Wednesday, giving the fans a first look at the design, per ESPN.

The sneaker has a much softer look than many of the other colorways Clark has shown.

The upper comes in an off-white base with soft, multi-color undertones running through it. Clark's "CC" logo sits on the tongue in royal blue.

The real detail work is in the laces. They are soft, fuzzy rope laces covered with small colorful beads. Caitlin Clark's initials, 'CC,' are written on the bottom lace of the left shoe, and her jersey number, '22,' is written on the bottom right lace.

Clark made sure fans could bring their own customized shoe, too. In a follow-up Instagram Story, she revealed: "Btw, it comes with a bunch of different charms and you can make it your own."

The excitement around the sneaker comes right as Nike prepares to launch the Caitlin 1 line. The shoe officially makes its retail debut on October 1 with the "Racer Blue" colorway.

While the 'Friendship Bracelet' edition does not have an official drop date yet, sneakerheads and Swifties are already excited about its release date.

The unbreakable bond between Caitlin Clark and Taylor Swift

The 'Friendship Bracelet' sneaker is not just a design for the two superstars.

Clark and Swift have been building something closer to an actual friendship for a couple of years now, and the shoe is really just the latest chapter.

Clark has never hidden her fandom. She's attended multiple Eras Tour stops, including back-to-back nights in Indianapolis, where she wore stacks of beaded bracelets up her arm until she joked that her blood circulation was cutting off.

The admiration flows both ways. Swift sent Clark four packages of official Eras Tour merchandise along with a personal handwritten note, telling the WNBA star was "inspiring to watch from afar."

Their bond has only grown stronger with time. The two have shared VIP suites at Kansas City Chiefs games, cheering together for Swift's husband, tight end Travis Kelce, during an NFL game.

Clark has never been shy about wanting Swift to wear her kicks.

When Clark made history as the first female athlete on the cover of SLAM, she was asked who she dreamed of seeing in a pair of Caitlin 1s.

"Well, Travis Scott tried on the all-black pair. Obviously, we saw that in my Instagram post," Clark said, per a video shared by a fan account @clarkmode_ on X. "I wouldn't mind seeing Taylor Swift in a couple versions that I think she would probably like."
