Ranking the Top 5 Highest-Selling WNBA Players on the NIL Store Last Week

The impact of NIL (name, image, and likeness) has been well documented since the changes in 2021. College basketball players are usually at the top of the NIL rankings every week, and that is no different for players in the WNBA.

Below are the Top 5 WNBA players having the highest-selling merchandise on NIL last week, and some familiar college players who have transitioned to stardom.

5. Nika Muhl

Starting off is a name not mentioned as much as the others on the list, Nika Muhl. The Croatian point guard and former UConn star joins the list while remaining sidelined for the 2026 WNBA season due to a knee injury.

This followed a previous left knee ACL tear that kept the Portland Fire star out for the entire 2025 season. However, that upset has not kept her off the runway, as the WNBA style icon turned heads by recently modeling pieces from the new Feng Chen Wang x Under Armour Spring/Summer 2027 collaboration.

4. Diana Taurasi

The only retired player on this list, and it makes sense why Diana Taurasi is coming in at fourth place. Taurasi remains one of the top-selling WNBA players on the WNBPA NIL Store for her vintage UConn college jerseys.

Moreover, she has openly spoken about her support for the modern NIL era and the latest changes to the collective bargaining agreement, reminding us of how strict the rules were during most of her time as a professional athlete.

3. Sophie Cunningham

You can't help but wonder whether Cunningham making it to the top 3 of last week's list does not have anything to do with her recent viral pointing meme, which went triple platinum on social media.

Regardless, the Indiana Fever star is a fashionable icon off the court in her own right and recently made news by pointing out the business side of NIL and jersey sales. Cunningham believes that players receive a disproportionately small share of revenue from the WNBA.

2. Azzi Fuud

This year's No. 1 overall draft pick has always remained a constant in NIL rankings. She has famously built one of the most lucrative and high-profile NIL portfolios in women's basketball history, including deals with the Jordan Brand, Chipotle, CAVA, and Celsius.

The rookie had a slow start to life with the Dallas Wings, but has since picked up form and is a key part of head coach Jose Fernandez's plans as one of the most exciting and proficient guards in the WNBA today.

1. Paige Bueckers

The Dallas Wings certainly possess a ton of stardom, as topping the list is another regular, Paige Bueckers. Coming out of college, Bueckers' NIL valuation was already at $1.5 million, per On3.

UConn players have dominated this list, and Bueckers is another addition. During her record-breaking year under head coach Geno Auriemma, Bueckers signed historic endorsement deals with major brands like Gatorade, Nike, Bose, and Dunkin'.

In addition, she was the first college athlete to design and launch her own Nike Player Edition shoe. Bueckers is now renowned as one of the top guards in the current WNBA by fans, coaches, and her peers alike.

So, have you surfed through the WNBPA NIL store to cop some of these players' merchandise? Let us know in the comments.
