Ranking Dallas Wings Roster by Stats

The Dallas Wings are off to an impressive start in the 2026 WNBA season, holding an 8-4 record. The team is winning because different players are stepping up every single night in their own unique roles.

To see who is driving this early success, we are breaking down the top ten players on the Dallas Wings roster based on their statistical impact this season with reports by ESPN.

No. 10- Li Yueru

The Dallas Wings rely on interior size, and Li Yueru provides that off the bench. The Chinese center serves as a reliable piece for the frontcourt.

Through 8 games played with zero starts, she is averaging 2.3 points and 2.4 rebounds in 6.9 minutes per game. She also chips in 0.4 assists and 0.1 steals.

No. 9- Alanna Smith

Defensive versatility is what Alanna Smith brings to the Dallas Wings. The front office signed Smith to a three-year max contract in free agency back in April 2026 from the Minnesota Lynx.

In the 11 games she played, including 7 starts, Smith is averaging 16.8 minutes on the floor. Her stat line features 3.4 points, 3.4 rebounds, and 1.7 assists per game. Smith is also contributing 0.9 steals and 0.5 blocks.

No. 8- Odyssey Sims

Every good team needs an experienced veteran. Odyssey Sims fills that role as a backup point guard for the Dallas Wings. She was signed to a one-year deal in free agency in April 2026.

Sims has appeared in 10 games with 7 starts, averaging 17.0 minutes per night. Sims is scoring 6.0 points per game, along with 2.7 assists and 0.9 rebounds.

James is producing 6.6 points, 2.3 rebounds, and 1.3 assists. On the defensive end, she averages 1.1 steals and 0.3 blocks per game.

No. 6- Maddy Siegrist

Providing floor spacing is crucial, and Maddy Siegrist does it for Dallas. The forward was picked by Dallas back in 2023.

She has appeared in all 12 games and started 5 of them, averaging 15.9 minutes per night. Siegrist is averaging 6.7 points and 3.6 rebounds per game while adding 0.8 assists and 0.7 steals.

No. 5- Awak Kuier

Awak Kuier has been with the Dallas Wings for a few seasons now and was re-signed to keep the frontcourt strong.

No. 4- Azzi Fudd

It is rare for a rookie to make an immediate impact on both ends of the floor, but Azzi Fudd is doing that. She was selected as the number 1 overall pick in the 2026 WNBA Draft by Dallas.

She has played in eleven games and started five of them, averaging 27.5 minutes per game. Fudd is scoring 11.9 points along with 1.4 rebounds and 1.4 assists. She is also averaging 1.3 steals and 1.0 blocks per game.

No. 3- Arike Ogunbowale

As a franchise veteran, Arike Ogunbowale remains one of the core identities of the Dallas Wings. The shooting guard was drafted by Dallas back in 2019 and signed a multi-year deal to stay with the team.

She has started all 12 games this year and averages 29.3 minutes on the floor. Ogunbowale is averaging 13.8 points, 2.9 rebounds, and 3.0 assists per game.

No. 2- Jessica Shepard

Jessica Shepard is the engine of the Dallas Wings frontcourt. The Notre Dame alum joined the team in April 2026 after signing a multi-year deal in free agency.

She has started all 12 games and plays 31.4 minutes per night. Shepard is averaging a double-double with 13.7 points and 11.1 rebounds per game, while also leading the team with 5.8 assists. Additionally, she adds 0.7 steals per game.

No. 1- Paige Bueckers

Sitting comfortably at the top spot is Paige Bueckers. The UConn star was the number one overall pick in the 2025 WNBA Draft.

She has started all 12 games and leads the team with 32.4 minutes per night. Bueckers is averaging 19.8 points, 3.6 rebounds, and 5.8 assists per game. Her defensive contributions include 0.5 steals and 0.3 blocks.
