Dallas Wings star Paige Bueckers capped off an incredible week in the WNBA by attending the FIFA World Cup semifinal between Spain and France with her brother, Drew.
With the match happening in Dallas, there was no reason not to, as Bueckers also attended one of the very first matches of the tournament between the Netherlands and Japan.
The Wings star must have received some inspiration from young stars like Lamine Yamal and Pedri, as Spain beat France 2-0 to book their tickets to the World Cup final in New York.
Not like she needed any, as Bueckers has been having quite a productive season in her sophomore year at Dallas.

Bueckers and the Wings started the week by finishing off their four-game unbeaten streak away from home around the Northeast before erasing a late deficit against Chicago, and last year's No. 1 overall pick has been at the center of it all.
Bueckers averaged 23.6 points per game last week while dishing out over seven assists and grabbing six rebounds, while the Wings posted a 3-0 record during this period.
For her sublime efforts, Bueckers was deservedly named the WNBA Western Conference Player of the Week for the first time in her career. She was honored alongside Indiana Fever star Kelsey Mitchell, who took this mantle in the Eastern Conference.
The UConn legend's week started against the New York Liberty, with the Huskies' head coach, Geno Auriemma, in the broadcast booth. The Jessica Shephard-led Wings won the game 88-77.
Bueckers and the Wings find themselves in an interesting spot this year as compared to last, and they would need all the momentum possible as they are on the verge of qualifying for the knockouts.
Paige Bueckers and the Dallas Wings March On
As we head into the business end of the regular season, first-year head coach Jose Fernandez has done a fantastic job for the Wings this season with a record of 16-8, as the Wings are sitting at the fourth spot in the standings.
This is a complete turnaround from last year, as the Wings were nowhere near qualification for the playoffs and finished at the bottom of the standings.
They are in the middle of a five-game winning streak, the second-longest active streak behind the Golden State Valkyries’ seven-game streak. Dallas is 7-3 in its last 10 games after a rough 2-3 start to the 2026 campaign.
Bueckers has once again been the difference maker for the Wings, but this year in a winning effort. She also got selected for her second straight All-Star Game after averaging 20.7 points, 6.3 assists, and 4.2 rebounds per game.
While the Wings are facing a tough schedule, their next three of their four contests are in Arlington, Texas. They will be back in action on Thursday with a primetime showdown against the New York Liberty, then have a date with the Los Angeles Sparks on Sunday.
So, what other accolades do you think Paige Bueckers will be making this season? Let us know in the comments.
