Indiana Fever guard Sophie Cunningham is turning heads, but this time for her off-court brand partnership. Just a day after winning 83-71 against the Atlanta Dream in the WNBA Commissioner's Cup on June 4, Cunningham has gone viral for her new Adidas collaboration post.
Cunningham posted on Instagram on June 5, showcasing her latest collaboration with Adidas, where she is seen wearing a purple-colored outfit and working out at the gym.
"See this reflection? Obsessssssssed! #adidasoptime"
This is not the first time Cunningham has been in the news outside of basketball.
Earlier, she was also featured in the Sports Illustrated magazine, which was released in May. Cunningham also had a few words to say after her photoshoot for the magazine.
"It really was so fun,” Cunningham said about the SI shoot. “You just feel so empowered."
While she explores business deals, the 29-year-old has joined the Fever on a one-year deal. She has spoken about wanting her contract to be extended as she loves the city and the fans.
"I’m not mad about the money," Cunningham said. "I just wanted more years because I love it here. I wanted to get a house so I could bring my dog and donkey to Indy with me. That’s it. That’s the truth. I think we have something very special here in Indiana."
She has been decent for the Fever this season, averaging 9.6 points and 2.7 rebounds per game.
Amid all the background stories, Cunningham has also helped the Fever clinch a much-needed win for the team after a string of two straight losses.
Sophie Cunningham Admits to Fever's Defensive Issues
The Fever lost two games against the Golden State Valkyries, 90-88 on May 28, and the Portland Fire, 100-84 on May 30.
In both games, their defense was the problem, which Cunningham also admitted during their practice for the Dream game.
"We probably had 10 (defensive schemes) last year," Cunningham said, per a Sporting News report from June 2. "Each team has stuff up their sleeve, but if you can’t execute ‘em, you can’t do ‘em. And so this team really does have to focus."
The Fever acknowledged and improved their defense, allowing just 71 points to the Dream on Thursday, the fewest points allowed by them since the game against the Washington Mystics on September 7, 2025, when they won 94-65.
They are playing the New York Liberty next, who are on a three-game winning streak themselves. The Liberty holds a 6-4 record, while the Fever sits at 5-4.
Cunningham will be keen to be helpful once again after she scored eight points and had two rebounds against the Dream, helping the team to get through them.
