Livvy Dunne attends Michael Rubin's White Party as Paul Skenes endures tough outing

The annual white party hosted by Rubin has since become a regular feature of the summer Hamptons calendar, attended by athletes and celebrities annually, but this year Livvy Dunne was one of them, not accompanied by her boyfriend.

On Wednesday, Livvy Dunne arrived at the annual white party thrown by Michael Rubin in his Bridgehampton home and shared pictures from the party on her Instagram page.

She wore a white maxi dress with matching heels and posed alongside Olympic speed skater Jutta Leerdam, singer Tate McRae, Fanatics executive Mike Hermalyn, and Olympic gymnast Sunisa Lee.

Dunne also posted a TikTok video showing off her outfit before heading to the party, captioning it "white party" with a heart emoji.

Rubin's party has grown into one of the most talked-about events of the summer, regularly pulling in major names from sports, entertainment, and social media, and this year's guest list continued that trend.

While Dunne mingled in the Hamptons, her boyfriend Paul Skenes was on the mound in Pittsburgh dealing with a very different night.

The Pirates ace suffered the worst outing of his career on July 1, allowing a season-high seven earned runs in just four innings during a 10-6 loss to the Phillies.

Skenes had trouble with command right from the beginning, including throwing a ball leading to two runs scoring before Trea Turner hit a three-run home run to make Philadelphia lead 5-0. Brandon Marsh and Bryce Harper contributed further in subsequent innings.

A tough night at the plate is part of an alarming trend for the defending NL Cy Young Award winner. Since winning against the Rockies on May 12, Pittsburgh has gone 0-9 when Skenes has started, with Dunne carrying an ERA of 5.36 during that span.

Away from the diamond, things have gotten quite a bit more serious than modeling work for Dunne.

Livvy Dunne Opens Up About Airport Safety Concerns

Dunne recently shared on TikTok that she did not feel safe during a trip home after a family vacation, describing an incident at the airport gate.

"To the people still selling my flight information, stalking me at the airports, and buying refundable plane tickets to go through security to meet me at my gate. Can you please stop. I don't wanna get anyone in trouble, but I want to share what it's like from my perspective," Dunne said in a TikTok video posted this week.

"You guys aren't fans, you're professionals. You're recording me on Meta glasses getting my autograph, and you're gonna sell it. Last night, I didn't feel safe at the airport. If my sister didn't stop these people from coming into the women's bathroom, I don't know what would have happened," she added.

Dunne noted she has security available and can fly private, but questioned why a woman should have to change her behavior over it.

Comment on what you think should be done to protect athletes from this kind of incident.
