Los Angeles Rams defensive end Myles Garrett and veteran snowboarder Chloe Kim had a cute moment at the 2026 ESPYS award show, as Garrett thanked Kim for "keeping a secret" from him.
Held at the David H. Koch Theater at Lincoln Center, the 2026 ESPYs honored Garrett with the award for Best Record-Breaking Performance.
In a surprise twist, his girlfriend, Kim, presented him the trophy alongside comedian Tiffany Haddish, prompting an affectionate shoutout during his acceptance speech.
"Thank you, baby, for keeping a secret like that, because you definitely knew," Garrett said in his speech. "I'm blessed to be on this stage. Most of all, this is an honor. I've got a lot of catching up to do with this beautiful woman behind me."

Garrett has received the award at the ESPYs after his impressive performance with the Cleveland Browns before being traded to the Rams, where he set the NFL record for the most sacks in a single season, with 23. He also won the Best NFL Player award at the ceremony.
The former Cleveland Browns defensive end talked about how he still has to catch up with his girlfriend, who has won five ESPY awards, including Best Female Athlete, Best Female Olympian, and three consecutive Best Female Action Sports Athlete awards.
It looks like Garrett's suspicion that Kim was keeping it a secret from him might have been true after all, as Kim did know about being the presenter of the award beforehand.
Chloe Kim talks ESPY presenting duties on the red carpet and injury recovery
Before Garrett received the prestigious ESPY awards, he and Kim joined GMC hosts Harry Lyles Jr. and Kimberley Martin at the ESPYs' red carpet, where Kim talked about her being the presenter on the award show tonight.
"I'm so excited to present," Kim said. "I think handing people awards is just as fun as receiving them. So I'm looking forward to it."
Kim, knowing about being the presenter, might have also known that her boyfriend was indeed the winner. Kim and Garrett, though, shared another adorable moment as Garrett kissed Kim on the cheek during their walk on the red carpet.
During the pre-show, she also discussed overcoming a severe shoulder injury to compete in the 2026 Winter Olympics. Kim had torn her left labrum during a training camp in Switzerland, disclosing the injury on Instagram on January 8.
"There was a chance I wouldn't be able to compete, and when I got that news," Kim said. "I was devastated. So, really just grateful that I was able to show up and make it all the way to the final with very minimal prep."
After winning back-to-back halfpipe Olympic gold medals in 2018 and 2022, Kim competed to defend her gold medal but lost to the Republic of Korea's Choi Gaon in the final, winning a silver medal instead.
