The Indiana Fever's award run keeps on rolling, as Kelsey Mitchell is the latest to be honored as the Eastern Conference Player of the Month for July.
It was a thoroughly deserved victory for Mitchell, who averaged 27.2 points per game during the month and scored at least 20 in every game played, as she has topped that mark in 14 consecutive contests.
"Awesome." Former sports columnist Jason Whitlock commented on social media, summing up Mitchell's unreal form throughout this season.

This announcement comes on the heels of the Fever attaining more glory. Mitchell's backcourt partner, Caitlin Clark, was named the Eastern Conference Player of the Week.
Apart from Whitlock, Clark congratulated Mitchell by reposting her victory on her Instagram story.
Clark was the Player of the Month in June, meaning the Fever backcourt went back-to-back with that distinction. Clark's Player of the Week was her second in a row, with Mitchell winning the week prior.
Apart from the scoring duo, Fever head coach Stephanie White was also named WNBA Coach of the Month, punctuating Indiana's recent award run.
It is clear that the Fever's offense is becoming unstoppable in recent weeks, with much of the credit going to Clark and Mitchell again.
Kelsey Mitchell and Caitlin Clark are the WNBA's Best Backcourt Duo
Mitchell and Clark are the first WNBA backcourt duo since 2011 to have swept Player of the Month awards in consecutive months.
And if the awards weren't enough, the Fever's recent success speaks to just how effective Clark and Mitchell have been in tandem.
In July, Indiana was 8-2 and is pacing as the best offense in league history, both in points per game and offensive rating. And one look at where Mitchell and Clark rank in the scoring chart says it all.
Mitchell ranks second in the WNBA in scoring, while Clark ranks third. The two are combining to average 45.5 points every night, and that too with amazing efficiency.
Playmaking-wise, Clark is also second in the league and dishes out 8 dimes a contest. Add Mitchell's contribution, and the pair is contributing 10.7 assists to go with the gaudy point totals.
As the awards keep on coming, the Fever's confidence keeps on increasing as well. After starting the season slowly, they are now 19-11 for the season.
Mitchell and Clark's next destination to showcase their offensive prowess would be against the reigning champions, the Las Vegas Aces, on Thursday.
So, do you think either Kelsey Mitchell or Caitlin Clark should be leading the MVP race? Let us know in the comments.
