Caitlin Clark gave her all in the do-or-die playoff game against the Aces. That left her throwing up in the trash can. However, the Fever guard is prepared to do the same in the final game of the series as well.
By halftime of Game 2, Clark had 14 points and 11 assists. That made her the first player in WNBA postseason history with a points-assists double-double in a single half. The historic performance left her gassed.
"To be honest, I threw up everything in my stomach at halftime. I was just out there so tired," Clark said. It's not because I didn't feel good or anything; I was just that gassed."

Clark's candor underscored the physical demands of playoff basketball.
The minor health hiccup had no impact on Clark, who led her team to even the series with a 99-89 win. The 24-year-old dropped 27 points, 15 assists, and seven rebounds.
The best-of-three series is now tied 1-1. Clark is ready to push herself to the limit again in Game 3.
However, she also apologized to anyone uncomfortable with her actions.
“It’s an incredible amount of throw up so sorry to anybody that was standing in the vicinity of that trash can,” Clark added, as reported by The Athletic's Candace Buckner.
It’s not the first time Clark has been spotted throwing up during halftime. Back in June, during halftime of the Fever’s 83-71 victory over the Atlanta Dream, she revealed she puked after a long time.
Her all-in-one performance got praise from her head coach, Stephanie White.
Coach White praises Clark's all-around game management
Clark was everywhere on the court, spearheading the incredible victory over the Aces. Fever head coach Stephanie White found her performance ‘terrific.’
“I thought how she managed the game was really good,” White said, per the same report by The Athletic's Candace Buckner. “And she was the catalyst for us here tonight.”
Clark scored or assisted on 58 points, which ESPN reported tied for the most in a WNBA playoff game. It was a complete turnaround from the Game 1 performance.
Now, the final game remains, which will decide whether the Fever advance to the semifinals.
