Indiana Fever superstar guard Caitlin Clark offered her now-familiar 'I don't really care' response after yet another 30-point, 10-assist night against the Connecticut Sun on Friday.
Clark led the Fever to a 111-91 victory in their final game before the league's break. She recorded 34 points, 12 assists, five rebounds, and three steals. Yet, when asked about it, Clark remained unfazed by her personal numbers.
"I mean, I don't really care about the stats. I think when I'm just flowing and playing, that's kind of what follows," Clark said during her postgame press conference, per Indiana Fever on YouTube.

During the win against the Sun, Clark became the first player in WNBA history to record back-to-back games with at least 30 points and 10 assists.
"I feel like that's kind of how I've been over the course of the last couple of games. Obviously, you're not gonna have 30-plus, 10-plus every single night," Clark added during the same interview, per Indiana Fever on YouTube.
Clark's outing came just four days after she recorded 37 points and 10 assists in a 113-90 rout against Chicago on August 23.
The 2024 WNBA Rookie of the Year now has six career games with at least 30 points and 10 assists. The rest of the WNBA players have combined for just four such games since 1997.
Despite that, Clark's grounded mindset mirrored what she said just a month earlier after recording a career-high 45 points and 10 assists against the Seattle Storm.
"I mean it’s cool, I don’t really care. I know what I’m capable of, I know what this team is capable of and it’s my job to help us win and be the best team in the WNBA," she said back then after becoming the first WNBA player ever with 40 points and 10 assists in a single game, per espnW on X.

Indiana Fever head coach Stephanie White believes looking only at box scores misses the true genius of what Clark brings every night.
"You watch her, and I think it’s easy to take for granted some of the things that she does," White said following the win over Connecticut, per James Boyd of The Athletic.
White's larger point was that Clark's game is built on pace control, spacing, and the ability to make a genuinely difficult game look effortless.
"She's moving the ball, getting it side to side, it's really, really fun to watch. And sometimes you can get caught up on the sideline, you just watch it. So it's really special, really special what she's doing," White explained, per the same video.
Perhaps that’s the same ‘flow’ Clark spoke of after her recent achievement. And maybe that's what makes Caitlin Clark… Caitlin Clark.
