First Look: Nike A'Two 'Pinkies Up' Celebrates A'ja Wilson's Alpha Kappa Alpha Sisterhood

Three-time WNBA champion A'ja Wilson has introduced a new color to her shoe collection, the Nike A'Two, which is inspired by the Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc (AKA). The new colored shoes are called Pinkies Up.

AKA is one of the largest Greek-letter sorority organizations, founded on January 15, 1908. Wilson has been a part of it since she joined the Theta Gamma Chapter at the University of South Carolina in 2017. AKA provided her with the sisterhood during her college days, which helped her throughout her career. This new color pays tribute to the organization.

The Pinkies Up color is inspired by her last year's A'One AKA color, which had salmon pink and apple green shades. This year, the pink shade is more light, accompanied with a leaf green shade, with the A’ja-branded heel counter and MVP written on the heel tab.

The Nike Swoosh is also in a leaf green shade. The Nike A’Two Pinkies Up will release on July 8, 2026, and will come in GS and unisex sizing, available for $122 and $145, respectively.

The four-time MVP has previously talked about how AKA has helped her deal with the immense athlete-student pressure.

A'ja Wilson On How AKA Made Her Feel All Shades Of A Female

Wilson was recently featured in an In The Bag video segment from Vogue, where she talked about how AKA made her feel like both a little girl and a woman, able to experience every shade of womanhood.

"It allowed me to be a woman and a young girl. When I gained my 60 sisters, I was able to enjoy the college side. I’m so grateful for the sisterhood that I formed in college through AKA because it allowed me to be a woman."

Wilson further said that it allowed her to be a young girl as well. As a student-athlete, her world often revolved around the gym and classes, but with AKA, she experienced a new world.

"As I have gotten older and become a leader and put in different situations, I have to credit AKA and the sisterhood when it comes to that," Wilson further said. "It tests you to see if you are really down for it, and I am down for it."

Wilson has been one of the greatest players the WNBA has seen, being a seven-time All-Star and three-time Defensive Player of the Year. Wilson continues to inspire generations of future players with this brand-new Pinkies Up color.
