Las Vegas Aces forward A'ja Wilson put up 22 points in Game 2, which was 16 points less than her total in Game 1, but a clash with a fan garnered more attention than Indiana Fever guard Caitlin Clark's 27 points and 15 assists.
Enes Kanter Freedom, the former NBA center picked third overall in the 2011 NBA Draft, went right after the star from the Las Vegas Aces while chatting with OutKick following Tuesday’s 99-89 Game 2 defeat by the Fever.

"I think A'ja Wilson should be suspended," Freedom told OutKick. "The league should hold her accountable because the fans are the ones that are paying the salaries of these players. As a player, they need to respect fans more."
Freedom bases his argument on the WNBA rulebook, Rule 12A, Section V, which states that a player or coach who intentionally goes to the audience is automatically ejected, with the first seat line being where the audience starts.
Wilson exited the playing field towards baseline seating at 4:10 when Indiana was leading 88-77, but received a technical foul instead.
The fan was targeted on social media and in the commentary box, but Freedom, in an interview with OutKick, fought back against that while commenting on how the fan acted on Tuesday night.
"Listen, he did not do anything wrong," Freedom said. "He was just very passionate about the game."
The Fever agreed with that stance to an extent. The fan was interviewed by arena security after being accused of violating the Fan Code of Conduct, and the incident was determined not to be a violation. Wilson apologized to her teammates for the technical.
However, Freedom’s case does not rest on the rulebook alone, because he added a personal experience to the discussion.

Freedom believes he is fully aware of this situation. On Aug. 16, he got up from his courtside seat at the Wintrust Arena and went over to exchange words with the Chicago Sky’s guard, Natasha Cloud.
He was escorted out by security, and the Sky club prohibited him from their games. He drew the parallel directly in the OutKick interview.
"It's the same situation," Freedom said of Wilson's confrontation. "I saw the fan. He simply got up, pointed at her, and then she just lost her mind. It was a lot of emotions, and then she was yelling and screaming."
"The same thing happened to me. I simply got up, put my hands up in the air, and then Natasha Cloud was barking at me," Freedom added.
Freedom walked to the court while Wilson went away from the court to the baseline seats. The league has not suspended her yet, and Game 3 is set for Thursday at Michelob ULTRA Arena with the series even at 1-1.
