As good as Caitlin Clark has been this season in the WNBA, for people who have been watching her since her college days, this comes as little to no surprise.
Clark's time at Iowa is the stuff of legends, as she took the women's college basketball world by storm with a plethora of dazzling performances.
While Clark won dozens and dozens of accolades in her four-year journey, the ultimate accomplishment came on February 15, 2024, when she became Division I women's basketball's all-time leading scorer.
Clark would also go on to break Pete Maravich's record for the most career points in men's and women's basketball on March 3.

With 3,951 points, Clark beat the likes of Kelsey Plum (3,527), Dyaisha Fair (3,403), and her own Indiana Fever teammate, Kelsey Mitchell (3,402 points).
Ever since she stepped foot in the league, there was no slowing down. Clark elevated every part of her game with Iowa and won honors like the Big Ten Freshman of the Year, Big Ten Rookie of the Year, and USBWA and WBCA National Freshman of the Year.
While Clark could not win the national championship with Iowa, losing two finals in a row, she more than cemented her legacy as one of the greatest women's basketball players to come out of the NCAA.
And just a little more than two years later, Clark is still going strong with the Indiana Fever.
Caitlin Clark is a Favorite for MVP This Season
Safe to say Clark had a slow start to her third season in the W, adding to the fact that her back issues put her on a minutes restriction as well.
Still, Clark has come roaring back following the minor setback, and her recent performances tell the whole story.
Clark put together yet another insane game in a win over the Seattle Storm, finishing with 32 points, four rebounds, and seven assists.
It’s the third time in four games that she’s scored at least 27 points, and Indiana has now won four games in a row.
Clark has also climbed up the statistics, ranking fourth in the WNBA in scoring (21.5 points) and second in assists (8.0).
While betting odds suggest she is still trailing Wilson, Miles, and Bueckers, Clark has more than enough time to catch up with 14 regular-season games remaining for the Fever.
