Caitlin Clark Shares Honest Reaction Following WNBA All-Star Game Win

After yet another successful WNBA All-Star weekend, Caitlin Clark reminded everyone that she is not taking such immense experiences for granted.

The three-time All-Star starter helped Team Spoon capture a 129-122 victory, giving fans the plays that they came to watch. Following the game, Clark shared a heartfelt social media post on Sunday, sharing several photos from the weekend in Chicago.

“3x All-Star… grateful for it all,” Clark wrote on Instagram, a fitting message after continuing her form with 17 points, 5 assists, 4 rebounds and a steal.

Clark's carousel of photos on her Instagram featured in-game moments, backstage memories, photos alongside teammates Kelsey Mitchell and Aliyah Boston, and, of course, the Nike Caitlin 1's newest colorways.

"Love your life 🥰🥰 more to come," Boston commented on Clark's post.

Apart from Clark's elite scoring form, it was the distance of her shots that garnered the most attention from fans.

Clark connected on three consecutive three-pointers during the opening quarter, including multiple attempts from near the All-Star logo.

The quick burst gave the crowd an early look at the kind of shooting display Clark has routinely delivered throughout her professional career.

Clark did not end up winning the All-Star MVP award, with that honor going to veteran center Jonquel Jones after she scored 22 points, 13 rebounds and 8 assists for Team Spoon.

But she still played an important role in the victory and produced one of the game's most entertaining stretches. After all, that is the very essence of All-Star games.

But for the fans who watch her on a regular know that Clark is having an MVP-caliber third year already.

Caitlin Clark Continues to Build Her Impressive WNBA Resume

Despite back issues that have halted her season from time to time, Clark entered the break averaging 21.0 points, 7.9 assists and 3.8 rebounds per game.

She ranked fourth in scoring and second in assists, which only goes to show her upward trajectory. Moreover, her popularity remains as consistent as ever, receiving 1,023,321 votes, the second-highest fan vote for the All-Star weekend.

And while her peers decided to rank her the eleventh-best guard in the league, she has time and again proven everyone wrong with her performances on the court.

While Clark's message after the All-Star weekend was brief, it captured how much the occasion meant to her. Three seasons. Three All-Star selections. And, based on Clark’s performance before the break, there could be many more ahead.

So, do you think Caitlin Clark has a chance of winning her first MVP award this season? Let us know in the comments.
