The sports world knows how big Taylor Swift’s fan Caitlin Clark is. Clark just revealed the two albums she returns to most. The answer came out during a casual moment at practice.
On Tuesday, July 7, 2026, the official Indiana Fever X account posted a new video clip. During a media availability session at the team's facility, a reporter asked the young guard about her musical tastes.
“I feel like this is more niche, but I love ‘folklore,’ ‘evermore.’ That’s just good stuff,” Clark said. “Gets you in your feels a little bit, you know. But I switch up every day. But you can’t go wrong.”
Choosing just one option was not easy for her. She admitted that her musical moods tend to shift depending on the day.
Folklore and Evermore, released back-to-back in summer and winter 2020, became Swift's pandemic-era twin masterpieces.
Clark's love for these albums has driven her Swift fandom for years. She attended an early stop of the tour in Minneapolis back in June 2023 during her college offseason.
Later, she took full advantage of the tour, coming to her new home state, attending back-to-back shows at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis on November 1 and November 2, 2024.
It was during that Indianapolis weekend that she got to meet the pop star face-to-face behind the scenes.
This latest interview clip is just the newest piece in a years-long connection between Clark and Swift.
A friendship beyond fandom
This connection has turned the young point guard into one of the most high-profile celebrity Swifties in the entire sporting world. Her dedication to seeing the live show is well-documented across multiple states.
After the concert, the singer sent four large bags of official tour merchandise to Clark. Inside the delivery was a handwritten personal note where the singer told the guard she was truly inspiring to watch from afar.
The note also included an open invitation to attend football games together in the future. The two shared a luxury suite at Arrowhead Stadium on multiple occasions during the 2025 football season to watch the Kansas City Chiefs.
During a later podcast interview, Clark revealed that she spent a lot of the game explaining football rules and penalty flags to Swift.
On June 11, 2026, during a home victory against the Chicago Sky, the guard debuted a pair of custom Nike Kobe 6 Protro sneakers inspired by the tour.
According to a report by Hawk Central, she explained postgame that the custom sneakers were a tribute to her favorite artist.
Which album do you think should be on the pre-game playlist?
