Caitlin Clark shared a warm pregame moment with San Francisco 49ers tight end George Kittle's 103-year-old grandmother, Lucky, and several of his aunts before the Indiana Fever's Thursday night game against the Las Vegas Aces at Gainbridge Fieldhouse.
The Indiana Fever star spent time with the Kittle family courtside ahead of tip-off, and Kittle didn't let the moment go unnoticed.
He posted photos from the visit to his Instagram Stories, thanking Clark and the Fever organization for looking after his grandmother and aunts during their time at the arena.
"Thank you to Caitlin Clark and the Indiana Fever for taking care of my Grandma Lucky and my aunts!" he wrote.
Clark reshared Kittle's story on her own Instagram account after that.
Lucky, whose birthday is in January, turned 103 in 2026. She has been a favorite among 49ers fans ever since her 100th birthday celebration at Levi’s Stadium in 2023.

Clark and Kittle are both proud University of Iowa alumni, and Kittle’s wife, Claire, also played basketball for the Hawkeyes.
The Kittles have shown up for Clark many times over the years. They watched Iowa’s NCAA Tournament win over West Virginia in 2024. And Clark later stopped to greet George and Claire courtside during a Fever game against the Golden State Valkyries last September
The support has gone both ways. When Kittle suffered a season-ending Achilles injury in the 49ers' playoff win over the Philadelphia Eagles in January 2026, Clark left an encouraging comment on his Instagram post.
"You're gonna be back better than ever !!! We are proud of you!!!!!" Clark wrote.
And when Clark scored 16 points, six rebounds and five assists against Brazil in a preseason exhibition in 2025, Claire praised her. She called Clark an absolute legend.
Caitlin Clark has built a habit of making time for people
She's built a reputation for making time for fans and families around Fever games, whether she's playing that night or not. And some of those moments have carried far more weight than a photo op.
In late July, Clark visited Ryker, a 12-year-old patient at Peyton Manning Children's Hospital in Indianapolis who was working through a long hospital stay.
A few months earlier, during a day off due to a back injury, Clark visited 10-year-old Noah, who was in isolation at the same hospital while being treated for acute myeloid leukemia.
Clark's generosity extends well beyond hospital visits, though.
At a Fever season-ticket holder meet-and-greet in June, a young girl broke from the autograph line, ran up to Clark and wrapped herself around her leg and refused to let go. Clark was seen laughing during the incident and later high-fived with the little girl.
Even outside WNBA competition, the habit holds. During Team USA's FIBA World Cup qualifying run this spring, Clark posed for a group photo with players from the New Zealand national team after a blowout win.
And during her extended absence from the Fever lineup in the second half of 2025 due to injury, Clark kept showing up early to sign autographs and take pictures with fans anyway.
