Caitlin Clark Has Fans Talking With Her Latest CC1 Colorway

Sneaker reveals don't always spark much conversation, but Indiana Fever guard Caitlin Clark's newest shoe drop has fans reacting immediately across social media.

Fan account @CClarkReport shared an image on X of Clark holding up a bright lime green colorway of her Nike CC1 signature basketball shoe, originally posted to her Instagram with the caption "more heat."

The shoe has an official name of Electric Green and features a combination of Electric Green, Varsity Maize, Dusty Cactus, Chlorophyll, and Racer Blue colors.

A darker midsole provides contrast to the bright upper, while gold "CC" branding can be seen on the tongue of the sneaker.

The bright green color is definitely the reason for calling this design "Grinch" since it relates to the colorway inspired by Kobe that Clark used earlier in her career.

The Nike Basketball stockists will sell this Electric Green color scheme when it drops on March 15, 2027, at a price tag of $140. This shoe is one of many in a collection of shoes already planned to release throughout 2026 and 2027.

Fans reacted instantly after news of this color scheme was made public online, with people both admiring and making fun of the look of the shoe.

Fans Flood Social Media With CC1 Reactions

"I love this color!" said one fan, expressing the feeling that so many people have had about the bright Electric Green colorway. The choice of the brand to go for colorful and highly visible colorways is now a hallmark of Clark's launch campaign.

One said, "We'll surely buy this, looks good," indicating the intention to purchase the item based on Clark's huge number of followers. With a retail price tag of $140 per adult size, the CC1 range of items has generated immense engagement from Clark's social media posts.

"She's gonna finish people's money," was another response, referring to the number of CC1 colorways that will come out during the years 2026 and 2027, which have already been announced apart from the regular releases.

A fan wrote, "Swap the laces to red." Her fans have suggested many changes in the colorways of her shoe since its first release, indicating how much they care about all aspects of its design.

"'I’m waiting for the all white one,' came another response, showcasing the excitement for a cleaner version. The release schedule of the CC1 collection is still underway, and with that, there will be more colorways released until its October 1st debut.

It becomes evident from all the reactions that Clark’s sneakers are definitely watched carefully by the fans, regardless of which one will drop next.
