Caitlin Clark's celebration didn't end when she landed back in Indiana. Fresh off a gold medal run overseas, the Fever star had one more surprise waiting for the people who'd been holding down the fort while she was away.
Back with the Indiana Fever on Wednesday, Clark marked her return by handing out pairs of her own unreleased Nike signature shoe, the Caitlin 1, in the Racer Blue colorway, giving her teammates first access to a shoe that won't hit stores for weeks.
Clark posted a video of the moment on social media, capturing her teammates' reactions as they opened their boxes. Rookie Makayla Timpson held one shoe up to her ear like a phone in the clip, visibly excited over the gift.
"My CC win a gold medal, she come back & give the whole team a pair of shoes!" Timpson said in the video shared by Clark on her social media, which was later reshared by Kyle Ingram on his X account.

The Caitlin 1 will not hit shelves for the general public until October 1. Clark has already worn the shoe in games this season. She also gifted a pair of the same to Lexie Hull, who wore them during the team's practice on Wednesday.
The surprise came just days after Clark helped Team USA beat France 97-79 in Berlin to secure the program's fifth consecutive World Cup title. Clark came off the bench throughout the tournament, averaging close to eight points and more than five assists per game, and hit a key three-pointer late in the final to help seal the win.
A fitting way to share the moment with the team that had her back all season.
Not the first time Caitlin Clark has surprised her Indiana Fever teammates
This kind of generosity is nothing new from the Fever star. Back in August, she marked another milestone, which was a 98-87 win over the Dallas Wings for a 22-12 record.
Fever guard Tyasha Harris shared an Instagram story revealing a stack of gifts Clark had left for her teammates. The haul included several pairs of Nike shoes, along with Clark's own CC1 signature model.
In the video shared by Harris, which was later posted by James Boyd, five boxes of shoes can be seen sitting on a chair. Harris captioned the moment simply:
"Christmas came early."
Two gifts, two milestones, one consistent habit. Whether it's a gold medal overseas or a big night at home, sharing an unreleased pair of her own sneakers has become Clark's way of pulling her teammates into the moment with her.
