A few days after showing support for her favorite NFL team, the Kansas City Chiefs, Caitlin Clark has now revealed her new Nike Caitlin 1 inspired by them. The red-and-gold colorway drops October 1 and is all set to be a huge hit.
Clark's signature shoe line was always destined to succeed. Now less than two weeks from release, the latest colorway comes with a lot of context.
The latest Nike Caitlin 1 signature shoe, colored red-and-gold, is indicative of the Fever guard’s lifelong connection with the Chiefs.

Black accents around the oversized Swoosh provide some contrast, while additional metallic details appear around Clark's signature branding, as shown on Nice Kicks' X post.
Nike designed Clark's shoe line to reflect her personal interests. This version perfectly aligns with that, as Clark has claimed to be no “bandwagon fan” of the Chiefs.
"I've been a Chiefs fan since I was a young girl," Clark told Peyton and Eli Manning in 2023. "My brother was a Chiefs fan, my Dad was a Chiefs fan. I have cousins in Kansas City who were Chiefs fans.”
Clark grew up in West Des Moines, Iowa, supporting the Chiefs. In fact, rooting for the Kansas City Chiefs is a family tradition for the 3× WNBA All-Star.
Clark has long supported the Chiefs at games; now her shoeline does too.
With a retail price of $140, Nike officially announced that the Caitlin 1 will be available globally beginning October 1, with the collection featuring 18 pieces of apparel.
The Nike Caitlin 1 signature shoeline has also received praise from a Kansas City Chiefs tight end.
Travis Kelce weighs in on the collab
Caitlin Clark’s Caitlin 1 has stolen the show on social media with its multicolored versions. Chiefs star Travis Kelce was also left in awe.
“Every color!!!” Kelce commented on Clark’s Instagram post.
Clark's Instagram carousel focused on Clark's life off the court, and the shoeline was also included. Along with Kelce, Clark's fanbase was left impressed by it.
Clark’s relationship with Kelce has been particularly heightened by her connection with his wife, the pop star Taylor Swift.
As recently as January 2025, Clark was present at the Chiefs' AFC Divisional Round playoff game against the Houston Texans at Arrowhead Stadium. She has been spotted in Taylor Swift’s suite.
