Caitlin Clark Addresses Questions About Her Well-Being Amid Intense Media Attention

WNBA star Caitlin Clark has been in significant controversy lately, including being listed out for important games and an argument with her head coach, Stephanie White. Clark addressed the ongoing list of criticisms and her well-being with the media.

The two-time All-Star was quick to respond when the reporters asked her about her well-being and how she was doing amid the media storm. An X video posted on June 5 by James Boyde of The Athletic shows her elaborating on the same.

"A lot of people have called and asked how I am? I said what do you mean, I’m great!" She said. "Maybe losing by 20 and having five days for people to talk about us wasn't for the best. But one of best pieces of advice I've got in my life is everything is a two-day story."

She said how people had way more time to discuss the whole chaos, but stressed that people are going to move on to the next day, so the Fever just needs to focus on the next game.

She also stressed how she doesn't actively involve herself in such media commentary.

"I don’t really read that stuff. I know everybody can have an opinion, and people make me aware. But I’m not sitting on Twitter or social media reading those things."

Beyond the viral sideline clash with coach White during the 84-100 loss to Portland Fire, the Fever faced a defensive collapse.

The Fever were allowing 89 points per game before the game against the Atlanta Dream. Clark was also struggling to guard Portland's Carla Leite, who scored 18 points and had 12 assists against the Fever.

But it looks like things are taking a turn for the Fever, as their latest win against a strong opponent reflects.

Caitlin Clark and The Fever Bounce Back

After two straight losses against the Golden State Valkyries and the Portland Fire, the Fever is back in action. They just beat a strong competitor in the form of the Atlanta Dream in an 83-71 matchup on June 4.

The Fever dominated the Commissioner's Cup game. Clark was huge for her team, scoring 17 points, grabbing seven rebounds, dishing eight assists, and blocking a shot.

The Fever are now at 5-4 and look to improve further. They will play their next game against the New York Liberty. The Liberty hold a 6-4 record and are currently on a three-game winning streak.

The games aren't going to be easy, but the Fever's momentum from this win can help them in future games.

Can Caitlin Clark keep her calm and help the Fever extend their win streak against the New York Liberty? Let us know in the comments.
