A quick moment on a Sunday night in Atlanta has given Angel Reese another viral highlight, and this one had nothing to do with rebounding.
Atlanta Dream star Angel Reese added another entry to her growing list of off-court moments when she showed off her arm strength during Sunday's Ravens-Falcons game at Mercedes-Benz Stadium. Reese was captured on video throwing a football with impressive form.
The clip, shared widely by Yahoo Sports with the caption:
"Angel Reese: QB1."

This post by Yahoo Sports quickly drew attention as the Defensive Player of the Year displayed a very different kind of athletic skill. According to those on hand, the throw went to Atlanta Falcons long snapper Liam McCullough, turning a casual interaction into a lighthearted crossover moment between the WNBA and NFL.
Reese has been highly visible throughout the 2026 postseason. After helping the Dream sweep both the Washington Mystics and New York Liberty to reach the WNBA Finals for the first time since 2013, she has balanced intense on-court focus with public appearances.
Attending the game offered a brief diversion before the championship series against the Golden State Valkyries begins later this week. The Finals open October 17 in San Francisco, with Atlanta hosting Games 3, 4, and a potential Game 6 at Gateway Center Arena.
The evening carried its own drama. The Ravens defeated the Falcons 30-23 in overtime, with backup quarterback Tyler Huntley leading the late rally and scoring the game-winning touchdown on a one-yard rush.
Reese's presence in the building connected two high-profile Atlanta sports stories in the same week: the Dream's Finals run and a competitive NFL contest with plenty of local interest.
What's next for the Reese and the Dream?
Reese's year has already been defined by major accomplishments. She won Defensive Player of the Year, led the league in rebounding, and became a central figure in Atlanta's first Finals appearance in 13 years.
The Dream and Golden State Valkyries open the 2026 WNBA Finals on Saturday, Oct. 17, at Chase Center in San Francisco. Game 1 tips at 3:30 p.m. ET on NBC/Peacock, with the best-of-seven series following a 2-2-1-1-1 format.
Both teams enter undefeated in the playoffs after sweeping their semifinal opponents. The No. 4 seed Dream (30-14 regular season) eliminated the New York Liberty, powered by Defensive Player of the Year Angel Reese. The No. 2 seed Valkyries (32-12) ousted the defending champion Las Vegas Aces in just their second season as an expansion franchise.
Neither side has ever won a WNBA title. Atlanta last reached the Finals in 2013; Golden State is making its first appearance. Key storylines include Reese’s rebounding dominance against the Valkyries’ disciplined defense and versatile forward Gabby Williams. The series will also mark a financial milestone, with the Valkyries already the first women’s sports team to top $100 million in annual revenue.
Home games for Atlanta will be at Gateway Center Arena after State Farm Arena proved unavailable, as per a Yahoo Sports X post. A first-time champion will be crowned by month’s end.
Do you think Reese's willingness to show her personality off the court helps or hurts her focus heading into the Finals? Let us know in the comments.
