In her third year in the WNBA, the Dream’s Angel Reese reaches the WNBA Finals for the first time. Her energy is at an all-time high, and her latest TikTok reflects exactly that.
Since being selected as the seventh overall pick in the 2024 WNBA draft by the Chicago Sky, Reese has come a long way. The WNBA DPOY pointed to her journey in the TikTok.
“How it feels moving to Atlanta & going to the finals in my 3rd year in the league,” Reese wrote in her video.

In her TikTok video, Reese celebrated her first trip to the WNBA Finals.
The Dream's 13-year Finals drought ended when Reese and Co. swept Liberty 3-0.
The Dream's trade of two first-round picks for Reese ahead of the 2026 season has already paid dividends.
Interestingly, last year, Reese manifested this incredible feat.
"I manifested this. When I came to Atlanta, I knew I wanted to be here. This team has poured so much into me, we pour so much into each other," Reese said, per ESPN. "I posted and tweeted [on] 10.10.2025 that I was manifesting the finals and this is my moment."
Reese wrote, "Manifesting the finals” and she brought it to life. Dropping 18.0 points per game for Atlanta in the postseason, Reese has been pivotal for her team.
The 2026 DPOY and the Dream face a tough test in the Golden State Valkyries in the upcoming Finals.
The Valkyries' head coach Natalie Nakase was also pumped about reaching the WNBA Finals.
Natalie Nakase celebrates historic Finals run
Valkyries owner Joe Lacob was looking for a head coach who could win the WNBA Finals in just five years since its inception. Nakase is just one series away from doing so in their second season.
"I'm really proud. I told them that I was proud of our whole team," Nakase said postgame. "If you put in the amount of time that we have, big dreams, this is a dream come true to be going to the Finals in our second year."
With an 87-77 overtime victory on Friday night, the Valkyries swept the series 3-0 against the defending champions, the Aces.
On October 17, the Dream and Valkyries will face off in Game 1 of the much-anticipated WNBA Finals.
