Paige Bueckers and Angel Reese just landed a major Coach campaign—their second brand deal together. Reese's recent social media post featured their latest pairing for a new campaign of the iconic million-dollar brand.
On Sunday, June 21, Reese shared a collaboration post on Instagram, featuring herself and the Dallas Wings star carrying the brand's Tabby bags. Coach, the $10 billion luxury brand, has tapped the two rising WNBA stars for its Gen-Z push.
"In each other’s corner &Coach with our Tabby Bags in Los Angeles," Bueckers wrote.
Reese and Bueckers are the faces of Coach's new campaign, titled "&Coach." The new campaign is Gen-Z-targeted. According to the brand, "&Coach was built by bringing Gen Z creatives, cultural voices, and hundreds of consumers into the work from day one."
Aside from Reese and Bueckers, Azzi Fudd is also part of the roster. Other names include Malala Yousafzai, PinkPantheress, Iga Świątek, Avantika and a few others.
This is not the first time that Bueckers and Reese have worked together with a brand. They came together to campaign for the Reese's x Oreo candy before its release. Two of the biggest Gen-Z faces in the world, this is just a start for the WNBA stars.
Paige Bueckers opens up about her relationship with Angel Reese
Angel Reese and Paige Bueckers' friendship goes way back to their teenage years. They have played, competed against, and have been friends since they were in high school.
However, in the last few years, they have grown even closer. For Bueckers, she can talk to the Atlanta Dream star about anything in her life without worrying about being judged.
“Yeah, I love Angel as a competitor. We’re great friends off the court as well,” Bueckers said in April this year about Reese joining the Atlanta Dream. “She just brings the best out of you. She’s a crap talker just like me.”
While being introduced for the Coach's & Coach campaign, Reese revealed that she met Paige when she was in 10th grade while playing in the All-Star Game in the DMV. So far, their relationship off the court has been rewarding for them personally, but it hasn't taken the edge off of their competitive stamina.
So far, Reese is 5-0 against Bueckers in the WNBA. There is no telling if two friends will ever team up in the WNBA. But if they do, it certainly will be box office.
