Angel Reese Adds Another Major Off-Court Honor With Spot on Create & Cultivate's 2026 100 List

While most of the WNBA fraternity is awestruck by Angel Reese's performances on the court, the Atlanta Dream star has also added a major honor outside the hardwood.

Reese has been named to the 2026 Create & Cultivate 100 list, truly solidifying her status as one of the most touted women icons. She joins two-time WNBA All-Star and 2014 WNBA Rookie of the Year Chiney Ogwumike for this major off-court honor.

Women named in the Create and Cultivate 100 list are the cream of the crop in their respective fields. The list showcases women redefining this era in various ways, as Create & Cultivate CEO Marina Middleton stated regarding the women featured in the list.

“Create & Cultivate’s 100 List honors the women who are building, leading, and influencing at scale. They are moving markets, shaping culture, and making decisions that matter. We evolve right alongside them,” Middleton said as per Forbes.

And Reese might be the only player in the WNBA to fit this description perfectly. While basketball is her bread and butter and the reason that the majority know her through, the Dream star has never been a one-trick pony.

For starters, Reese is building her own platform through her podcast Unapologetically Angel, where we see her informally engage with all her guests.

Reese has also formed a partnership with Reebok, where she has had her signature shoe, the Reebok AR 1, since last year. Reese became a cornerstone of Reebok’s return to the WNBA with her association with the brand.

Moreover, the Atlanta forward has dipped her toes in fashion, having multiple appearances at the Met Gala and walking the runway at Victoria's Secret Fashion Show last year.

Reese also did not leave the chance to get into the Hollywood circuit, as she was featured in the animated sports comedy film GOAT, alongside stars like Steph Curry.

Despite her numerous pursuits beyond basketball, some may assume that Reese is not entirely committed to the WNBA. However, ChiBarbie has made it clear that her focus is on long-term sustainability rather than shifting to another career.

Angel Reese Explains the Reason Behind Her Brand Development

Reese is one of the league's elite scorers, and the Dream are also thriving since the 23-year-old joined them in the offseason, currently having a record of 7-3 and sitting atop the Eastern Conference.

She also won the WNBA Rebounding Leader Award twice in her first two seasons. Naturally, the question arises as to why Reese is focusing so much of her time outside basketball.

“I know that basketball doesn’t last forever, so I want to continue to build my empire—across business, fashion, media, giving back through my foundation, and more,” Reese said during a conversation with Create & Cultivate.

While Reese's path to mainstream stardom continues to brew, the best rebounder of the league will be in action against her former team, the Chicago Sky, on Tuesday night at the Wintrust Arena.
