"A Loser": PFT Commenter Takes Wild Dig at Caitlin Clark's 'Situation', Urges Fever Star to Win Something First

Caitlin Clark has unsurprisingly been the trending topic throughout most of the season, but some are not ready to delve into it any further until she actually proves something and gets home some hardware.

One such analyst is PFT Commenter, who blasted Clark on Barstool Sports' Pardon My Take and believes that the Indiana Fever star does not deserve all this hype without a single trophy to her name.

“Can I say something about the Caitlin Clark situation? I would like to opt out of all Caitlin Clark discourse until she wins something. Why are we wasting all this time talking about a loser? She’s never won a title.” Commenter said.

While Clark's impact and contributions to women's basketball since her early hype at the University of Iowa are endless, every counterargument ends in her empty trophy cabinet.

CC became the greatest Division I scorer in history at Iowa and continued to win major individual awards, but could not crack it at the national championship game, once losing to Angel Reese's LSU as a junior and South Carolina as a senior.

Now in her third year in the WNBA, Clark has yet to win a championship for the Fever. While HC Stephanie White's team won the Commissioner's Cup last year, Clark was out dealing with soft-tissue injuries.

And that has been another thing slowly keeping her off her game, injuries. After a generational debut season winning Rookie of the Year honors in the WNBA, Clark was limited to just 13 games in her sophomore year after constant lower-body issues.

Even this season, Clark has been dealing with back issues since the Fever's first game against the Dallas Wings, and she is also expected to miss the next game for the same reason.

Caitlin Clark To Miss Over a Week Due to Back Injury

The Fever received more difficult news on Friday after their latest loss against the Phoenix Mercury, when Clark exited the game with another back injury.

Stephanie White has already revealed that Clark will be out for at least a week.

"The next week off will give Clark some time to get back to 100 percent," White said, meaning her next opportunity to play would come on July 5.

Clark has once again been having an impressive individual season despite her injury concerns, averaging 21.2 points and 8.2 assists per game when healthy.

The Fever is currently 10-8 for the season after a decent run of wins, but Clark's talents will definitely be missed for their quest to acquire a playoff berth as soon as possible.

With the Fever losing out on the Commissioner's Cup this season, it remains to be seen if Clark can propel the Indiana Fever to championship glory for the first time since 2012.

With better teams like the New York Liberty and the Las Vegas Aces on the horizon, the road will be tough. But with Clark's resume, we cannot count her out just yet.

So, do you think Caitlin Clark will bring hardware to her trophy cabinet this season? Let us know in the comments.
